Week 28
Weekly Greetings! As they end of February draws near, there are a number of assessments required through March. We will begin the MAP testing on Thursday, March 1, with the Language Arts test. Next week we will do the two other MAP tests. In addition, next week we will begin the two-week window for the district writing assessment. After Spring Break, the state required PEAK testing will be scheduled. Some fun activities for the class to look forward to this week will be the "Reading at the Beach" activity on Tuesday. Please see the yellow note attached to my weekly parent letter. Also, I am attaching a flyer I received over the weekend about celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss. I did not hear about the event until I got the flyer, but if your child wants to participate they still can starting on Tuesday. Now for a recap of some highlights from last week.
