Weekly Greetings! To start off with, there are some events and important information I want to make sure you are aware of. Hopefully, you got the note home last week about the Christmas Concert at 5:30pm this Tuesday. The students have been practicing in music for weeks and I am sure it will be an enjoyable program. As I mentioned last week, this week will be an enrichment week in our class, with numerous things surrounding the holidays. There will not be any spelling this week, but I will still be sending home nightly math and language homework through Thursday. On Friday, we will have a class party starting after lunch. If you can contribute a treat, please return the note attached to the parent letter. Finally, be aware that there is an early release on Friday and the students will be dismissed at 1:45pm that day. Since I had misplaced my camera last week, and my letter last week had just one picture, I am making up for it this week. As you can see from the pictures to follow,

Weekly Greetings! There are just two more weeks before we break for the holidays. I am continuing our regular routines through this week, but we will have a different focus for next week. Unfortunately, I have lost or misplaced my camera with additional pictures from the activity so I was only able to snap the picture to follow with

Weekly Greetings! The three days of MAP testing went well last week, but there are still couple students that will need to make up one test due to being absent. Now there is just three weeks left before the end of the first semester and our Christmas break. I know it will go by really fast. This week we will move back into a regular routine, other than an assembly on Tuesday morning for the November students of the month at 8:30am. There will also be an early out on Friday, and students will be released at 1:45pm. Now for some highlights from last week. Between the testing, we still continued in our regular reading, social studies, and math curriculum.  Students have been working on learning their math facts on a computer program daily, in addition to working on filling gaps through the Redbird math program. If students have completed all their daily assignments, then they have time at the end of the day for some activity choices during our Enrichment period. Also, we com
